This course provides training and certification for a range of forklift trucks, including Counterbalance, Reach, Power Pallet, Bendi, Comni-Lift, VNA, Pallet Stacker and Hi-ab. The duration of the programme is dependent on the specifications of each organisation. It is facilitated by RTITB certified instructors.

Companies with a number of employees requiring an initial education of their organisation’s forklift trucks and less usual types should book offsite instruction. Trainees will gain the fundamental aptitudes and information needed for safe operation after passing the course. Further job-specific familiarisation must be provided by the company. Trainees must be of the age of 16 or older and comply with HSA’s Code of Practice.
All trainees are eligible to receive a Certificate upon successful completion of the course, which will be determined through a practical assessment conducted by the Forklift Trainer. The certification is valid for 3 years, after which it is advised to get refresher training. Ahead of being certified as proficient, trainees must have both job-specific and familiarisation instruction.
